HLY is owned and operated by life long Huntington resident and local Long Island news anchor and reporter,
Danielle Campbell.
After spending much of her time in the fast paced world of broadcast news, Danielle turned to yoga as a way to restore her physical and mental well being.

Danielle, who has practiced for more than ten years, quickly realized the benefits of yoga and encouraged her four children to give yoga a try.
Unfortunately there were not many studios that were family friendly.
Inspired by the lasting benefits of yoga and the desire to help others discover yoga's ability to change our bodies and our minds, Danielle is proud to present Harbor Lights Yoga to her Huntington community and family!

Kristen Monge - I began practicing yoga in 1998 as a way to connect my love of physical exercise with a desire to calm my mind. After exploring several styles of yoga, I completed a 200+ hour teacher certification for Vinyasa Flow in San Diego in 2006. I like the way the body builds heat naturally through movement, the creativity for sequencing, and the range of postures that Vinyasa offers. The importance of the breath and listening to one's own inner wisdom is at the heart of my practice. Following my teacher certification program, I attended a Pre-Natal Yoga workshop which helped prepare me physically, mentally, and spiritually for the natural births of my two sons in 2007 and 2008. One of the many gifts from yoga is the message of balance and I try to integrate this concept into the various aspects of my life: family, friendship, health, music, food, fun, and love.

A former ballet dancer and also magazine editor, Lana Russo is a 500-hour certified teacher and member of the Yoga Alliance. She completed her training with Laurie Ahlemann and Nicki Spatacco at Prana Shakti Yoga in June 2008 (now Long Island Yoga School.) Inspired by her dance background, Lana enjoys sequencing the poses in a safe and challenging way that brings students to their edge while honoring their bodies. She is a teacher trainer at the Long Island Yoga School, assisting others on their path to teach yoga. She is always a student and continues to seek out ways to learn more so that she may bring new and exciting things to the mat. In her spare time, she loves to be with her wonderful husband and adorable puppy, and continues to freelance for various publications, writing about yoga, dance and overall health. She teaches yoga at Absolute Yoga in Woodbury, Yoga Rocks in Oyster Bay, Simplicity Yoga in Kings Park, Bonda Yoga in Great Neck and is excited to be a part of Harborlights.

Judy Martin teaches Meditation and Breathwork as a form of stress reduction at Harbor Lights Yoga, and as an executive business coach. Her passion to help others “consume chaos and cultivate resilience” was inspired by her own personal experience covering the events of 9/11. As a reporter for the national radio program Marketplace Morning Report, she reported by day and worked with the children of the victims at night, after the tragedy.
Judy is an Emmy award-winning Journalist and WorkLife Pundit who has reported on work life culture for well over a decade. She has covered some of the most chaotic moments in history including the Avianca plane crash, Hurricane Andrew and impact of the war in Kosovo. While experiencing these devastating events, she also witnessed the incredible beauty of the human spirit; the foundation for her passion to exalt the human experience in work and in business.
Judy has studied eastern and western forms of meditation for more than thirty years with a number of teachers including sociologist and spiritual career counselor, Vassar College Professor Rick Jarow PhD.
In addition to her studies, Judy is a certified Hospice volunteer.
